Samsung Smart TV & LG

Installation happens through an IPTV app downloadable from your TV's app store. Iron then provides the M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials.

Download the app from the store, enter the M3U URL provided by Iron, wait for the channel grid to load. That's it.

  1. Open your TV's app store

    Samsung: press the Home button on the remote, then go to Apps. LG: button Home, then LG Content Store.

  2. Download "Smart IPTV" or "IPTV Smarters Pro"

    Search the search bar. Both apps are free for a 7-day trial, then ask for a license (~$5 lifetime on Smart IPTV).

  3. Note the MAC address shown by the app

    The app displays a MAC address in the format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX. Keep it handy.

  4. Activate your feed on the app's portal

    Go to the Smart IPTV site (siptv.app) or Smarters. Enter your MAC. Paste the M3U URL Iron sent you by email.

  5. Reload the app on your TV

    Quittez et relancez l'application. La liste des channels se charge en 20-30 secondes. Le guide EPG (programme TV) apparaît automatiquement.

  6. Check playback quality

    Launch ABC HD or ESPN: the stream should start in under 3 seconds. If freeze or delay > 5s, reboot the router or contact support.

Amazon Firestick (HD, 4K, Max)

Iron works on every Firestick since 2018. Installation requires enabling developer mode to allow external apps.

Enable unknown apps → install Downloader → download Smarters Pro → enter the Xtream Codes credentials sent by Iron.

  1. Enable installation of unknown apps

    Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources: Enable.

  2. Install the "Downloader" app

    Free in the Amazon store. Required to fetch third-party apps.

  3. Download IPTV Smarters Pro

    In Downloader, enter the URL provided by our support, or use the shortcut code:

  4. Launch Smarters Pro and choose "Login with Xtream Codes"

    Enter the three fields sent by email after your Iron order:

  5. Wait for the grid to load

    First load takes 30-90 seconds depending on connection. After that, launches are instant.

Android TV (Box, Mi Box, NVIDIA Shield, TCL)

On Android TV, installation happens straight from the Play Store — no workaround needed.

  1. Open the Play Store

    From the Android TV home screen, pick Play Store.

  2. Download "IPTV Smarters Pro"

    Direct search in the store. Free app, regularly updated.

  3. Log in with Xtream Codes

    Same credentials as on the Firestick, sent by Iron upon order.

  4. Enable EPG in settings

    App settings → EPG → Update. The TV guide loads in the background.

Apple TV (HD, 4K)

On Apple TV, the Smarters Player Lite app is free on the tvOS App Store.

  1. Open the App Store on your Apple TV

    Search "Smarters Player Lite". Apple-vetted app, safe.

  2. Launch the app and add a user

    Choose "Add User" → "Login with Xtream Codes API".

  3. Enter your Iron credentials

    Three fields: portal URL, login, password. All provided by email after the order.

  4. Enjoy the native tvOS interface

    The app is natively optimized for the Siri Remote. Voice search supported.

iPhone & iPad (iOS 14+)

Three quality IPTV apps exist on the App Store. Our pick: IPTV Smarters Pro.

  1. Download Smarters Pro on the App Store

    Free app, works on iPhone and iPad. No jailbreak required.

  2. Choose "Login with Xtream Codes"

    Enter the three fields received by email.

  3. Enable AirPlay if needed

    You can cast your feed to an Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible TV.

Smartphone & tablette Android (8.0+)

Same as Android TV — Smarters Pro via Play Store.

  1. Play Store → IPTV Smarters Pro

    Standard download.

  2. Login Xtream Codes

    Three fields provided by Iron.

  3. Enable Chromecast to cast to your TV

    Native cast button in the app.

MAG 254 / 256 / 322 & Formuler

MAG (Infomir) and Formuler boxes have a native IPTV interface. Installation happens via STB portal.

  1. Note your MAC address

    Shown in Settings → Network. Format 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX.

  2. Send the MAC to Iron support

    We activate your STB portal feed in minutes.

  3. Settings → Servers → Portal

    Enter the portal URL we sent:

  4. Reboot the box

    The IPTV interface loads automatically with your channel grid.

VLC on desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux)

VLC can play your M3U feed directly, without an extra app.

  1. Download VLC from videolan.org

    Free, open source, cross-platform.

  2. Open Media → Open Network Stream

    Shortcut: Ctrl + N (Cmd + N on Mac).

  3. Paste the M3U URL provided by Iron

  4. Click Play

    VLC displays the channel list. Note: VLC does not natively support EPG — for the TV guide, prefer a dedicated IPTV app.

Troubleshooting

Common issues.

The app shows "invalid credentials"
Check that you copied the URL, login, and password with no extra spaces. Credentials are case-sensitive. If the problem persists, your subscription may not be activated yet — contact support with your order number.
The stream freezes or buffers during games
First test your bandwidth at fast.com: you need at least 15 Mbps for stable HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. If your bandwidth is fine, restart the app and the router. If the issue persists on a specific night, contact us: there may be an active incident.
A specific channel stopped working
Report it to support with its exact name. We fail over to a mirror in 60 seconds on average. The channel comes back without any action from you.
Do I need a VPN with Iron IPTV?
Not necessarily. However, some US ISPs (notably Comcast and Spectrum) may throttle IPTV streams during peak hours. A VPN can bypass this. We recommend NordVPN or ProtonVPN if you see systematic degradation.
How many devices can I connect simultaneously?
All our plans include 1 simultaneous connection. You can install Iron on as many devices as you want, but only stream one feed at a time.
